Project Summary
This project completed the residential vision for the Hingham Shipyard with 77 waterfront condominiums offering direct views of the marina and Boston Harbor. Located in the heart of a vibrant mixed-use district, the building offers residents luxury amenities, assigned parking, and walkable access to transportation and shops.
Legal Strategy
DTM Law Attorneys Scott Golding and Jeff Tocchio represented the regional developer in securing a Major Modification to the Shipyard Special Permit from the Zoning Board of Appeals, along with additional approvals from the Planning Board and Conservation Commission. DTM Law also advised on acquisition, project financing, and modification of existing easements and agreements governing the broader development.
Outcome
The project delivered a premier residential offering to the Shipyard, completing its transformation into a full-scale waterfront village with homes, restaurants, retail, and direct transit access to Boston.
