Mark A. Tocchio
Mark practices in land use, real estate development, environmental, litigation, and business law. He represents private clients, developers, and municipalities in zoning, permitting, and property-related matters throughout Massachusetts.
He regularly appears before municipal boards and commissions, including Zoning Boards of Appeals, Planning Boards, and Boards of Health, and works with state and local agencies on permitting and regulatory compliance. His practice focuses on securing local land use approvals and resolving disputes arising from complex development and infrastructure projects.
Mark also represents clients in state and federal court litigation, including jury trials, involving eminent domain, real estate, and land-use matters. His experience includes cases involving property rights, valuation disputes, environmental impacts, and regulatory frameworks such as Superfund and Brownfields redevelopment coordinated with MassDEP and the EPA.
Prior to joining DTM Law, Mark practiced at a Boston law firm representing municipalities and municipal boards. He also served in federal and state government, including as a legislative staff member in the United States Congress.
